Spot Check! Uncovering Hyperpigmentation

The anti-aging market has long been considered a booming business, and the past few years have seen a notable shift in how aging is viewed. The hot topic for many of my clients is melanin, or pigmentation as a mark of age. Of course, fine lines and wrinkle are the old standbys of anti-aging vocabulary, and they continue to be of concert to clients worldwide. However, current research indicates that uneven skin coloring – specifically, the blotches and dark spots on the face, décolleté and hands, which is the classic indicator of UV exposure and hormonal shifts – now matches or even surpasses concerns about skin smoothness and texture.

NuFree 4 Men and Women!

Nufree “wax” is the next generation of hair removal… for starters, it’s not actually wax. When our spa gets requests for male or women hair removal, we want to be able to offer our clients the best new products and services. We have clients who want to be smooth all over, including intimate areas (beneath the bikini line or briefs for men). We get many clients asking about Brazilian waxes and swear by them, but because many have sensitive skin, we added the Nufree system.

Superfood for Super Skin!

When we think of sweet potatoes, we think of fries, pie or those wonderfully Thanksgiving dishes. Contrary to the belief that if something tastes good it certainly can’t be good for you, the sweet potato is packed full of nutritional power – even if it’s laden with sugar and baked in crust. Superfood for super skin One of the oldest vegetables known to humans, this hearty, adaptable pant is thought to have originated in Central or South America; Peruvian sweet potato remnants have been found that date back as far as 8000 BCE.

Strategy For Flawless Skin

hydrate

No matter what your skin type, keeping the skin hydrated is the single most important aspect to maintaining beautiful, radiant and youthful looking skin. Typical skin care moisturizers work by covering or sealing the skin to help prevent moisture loss. While these types of products may give the skin a temporary, nicer appearance, they do nothing to directly hydrate the skin. However, some oily products can clog pores, block the release of toxins and prevent the skin from breathing, actually helping to age the skin.

Moisture Loss:

Amino acids are the main component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor. All About Skin products ensure the highest level of moisture binding compounds to keep the skin looking healthy and hydrated all day long.

What’s a lasting gift you can give this season? From Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day we all spend a lot of time thinking about others, leaving very little time for yourself. As a skin care coach, let me make this holiday season less stressful. If you or someone you love are busy going from social functions, working, or shopping you may need a “QUICK” hydrating facial in the middle of his or her day. At All About Skin, we offer a shorter time frame treatment, (usually 25-30 minutes), and we address one concern very well. You or that someone in your life will leave seeing and feeling a difference immediately.
